It's the perfect place for a short or long term student.

This home is located in the typical Barrio de Jalatlaco that is so common among colonial cities. With its cobblestone streets, its seventeenth-century temple, and  its vernacular architecture with adobe facades, the traditions and customs can also be seen in its people. The customs and traditions which is the main characteristic of the historic centers comes together to form the heart of the city of Oaxaca.

 

This room is located on the ground floor inside of a private home of Mario Navaro, an architect and his lovely wife Norma, a Phlebotomists. They have a small dog that resides with them that is well behaved and quiet. The room has its entrance in the rear of the home. After checking-in renters are given a key to the front door as well as to their room.

Jalatlaco is centrally located in the heart of Oaxaca and just a 15 minute walk to the Zocolo. Also in Jalatlaco is the Mercado de Merced with its wonderful fruit, vegetables, breads and dairy, and arm-loads of fresh flowers, is just a short walk away! Our location also provides convenient access to many Spanish language schools.

Everyone shares the same access to the main street but you will have your own key to the main door as well as to the room.

 

The housekeeper is on property daily and comes to clean and change your linens once a week. The owners do not speak English but you can contact me at any time for any reason. 

 

Oaxaca offers an extraordinary array of concerts, live theater, lectures and famous art institutes. Classes are offered in painting, sculpture, weaving, dance, photography, and ceramics to name a few. There is a wonderful English language library nearby with a very large collection of books in English.

This room has a small private enclosed sitting area with a view of the garden.  All utilities are included.  Perfect for mature couple or student. Wireless high speed cable included. Non-smokers only and no pets. No children under 15 years of age. Minimal rental age is 18 years. Located at Cinco de Mayo 309, in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco. This ROOM accommodates two persons maximum.
